Automatic Test System

Centron was involved with the development of an automatic test system for the functional verification of products in development and when they went into production. The system created consists of:
- A 19" rack with a 486 Single Board Computer
- A digitally controlled Power Supply
- Client proprietary Telecomm equipment.
- Client proprietary keypad.
- Zigbee Transceiver.
- .NET VC++ Software Application

Machine Development - Three Dimensional Printer

Centron worked with an Irish company in Electronic Design and Prototyping for this very innovative product development. It produces 3 dimensional objects for modelling and prototyping out of ordinary A4 office paper and environmentally friendly glue. Centron was also heavily involved with Certifying for CE safety and EMC.

Automated Quality Control System

Computerisation of paper processes is a common cost saving excersise. Many industries are forced into automation of their business processes, to achieve higher quality or to meet stringent new legal requirements on their business, emerging either from local government or from Europe. Centron worked with an international client company involved in the food sector with the storage and delivery of products. Due to new compliance requirements they needed to computerise the monitoring of food storage and transport. This required the development of new instrumentation systems for monitoring environemental conditions and the wireless communication of this information to a central server.

Mobile & Land Line Communications

The product developed, allows for the upgrade of existing alarm systems to use GSM as a means of communication. This can be either as a primary source of communication or as a backup to the Telephone line. Essentially the product is a bi-directional GSM - PSTN Bridge. Centron System Solutions looked after all sections of this development including:

USB & Wireless - Bluetooth Communications

The product developed, was a Blutooth dongle to allow PCs and Laptops inter-operate with other Bluetooth devices. Centron was involved with development of:
